Standards Development

Standards are an integral part to using CAD properly. Standards ensure deliverables are met, the quality of work is consistent and sharing of work between internal people and external partners is transparent. ER Solutions develops standards from scratch or uses industry standards as a foundation from organizations such as NCS or AIA. Standards can encompass everything from file naming conventions, layers, blocks, line types, object display and many other components of CAD. Developing standards is key, but the ease of use, the documentation, the adherence and checking of standards is just as important.
